How We ship our Frass

We ship the frass through the post office.  They are packaged in black, zip lock poly bags.  These poly bags allow the frass to maintain its density and hydration.  

How to use Black soldier fly larva frass?

You never want to add pure frass to your plants or vegetables.  It will burn your plant, and cause it severe pain.  Instead, there are a few methods you can try.  First, is mix it with peat moss.  4 parts peat moss : 1 part BSFL frass is a good ratio.  And you don't need to use peat moss.  Top soil work too, but it's more difficult to blend together. 

Frass Liquid Fertilizer

 Another method is adding 1/2 a cup of BSFL frass to 1 gallon of water.  This will great a potent tea fertilizer that you can use to water your plants.  Only water them about 1 or 2 times per month with this frass liquid tea.
